Title: Director of Quality Assurance

Location: Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Coral Gables Office

Job Function: The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for quality assurance and the programmatic monitoring and compliance of specified contracts.  The Director works with the Director of Contracts to establish appropriate criteria for monitoring contracts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services in full compliance with all applicable regulatory and contractual requirements by contractors.

Experience and Relevant Training Credentials:

  • Masters Degree Required
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory rules and regulations
  • Three (3)  years of supervisory level experience
  • Quality assurance and monitoring training and experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite 2007
  • Strong use/knowledge of Excel

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Monitors, collects and analyzes data related to quality and quantity of services and the effectiveness of the programmatic part of contracts.
  • Prepares and presents report of findings and correction plans.
  • Provides oversight and technical assistance upon request to the contractor to implement corrective action plans.
  • Data Collection and Analysis experience necessary to write factual reports based on data collected in field.
  • Identifies weaknesses and develops strategies to improve quality standards in the contract process.
  • Presents collected data and finalized report to the Executive Leadership Team and Various Board Committees
  • Recommends performance measures that are relevant and measurable for contracts and programs.
  • Ability to work in a team successfully.
  • Ability to work independently and to be held accountable for work completed.
  • Supervises and develops the staff to meet the department objectives.
  • Performs related duties as required.
